Equity Connect is expanding and partnering with The Network’s Educational Equity Series to offer workshops to educators across the state of Wisconsin. Join us for these unique, equity-focused opportunities for learning and action. Everyone and anyone is welcome to participate when your schedule allows!

The equity connect workshops are a co-created space with the goal of building relationships, learning from one anothers' experience and expertise, and engaging in ongoing dialogue in relation to equity.

Through dialogue, the purpose of these workshops are to:

  • increase racial literacy relevant to the students and families we serve;

  • explore how racism impacts our relationships with each other and with institutions;

  • discover how societal practices affect our schools and educational system; and

  • engage in learning opportunities that address disparities affecting historically marginalized groups.

There are a total of 38 workshops scheduled during the 2021-2022 school year. The content, presenters, and hosts will vary for EACH time and workshop. You may register to participate in ONE or ALL sessions.

These workshops are part of the Educational Equity Leadership Series. There is NO registration fee to participate in these online sessions. A scholarship, funded through the Individuals with Disabilities Education Improvement Act (IDEA), has been applied to the administrative and instructional fees.

These sessions will be facilitated online using the Zoom meeting platform.
