Disproportionality in special education is a concern at the Madison Metropolitan School District. The anti-racist individualized education committee has taken a proactive stance to support IEP teams. The anti-racist IEP reflection rubric is a tool that supports IEP teams understanding and managing of implicit biases when they engage with Scholars who identify as Black and or BIPOC.
