8:30 AM - 11:45 AM (CT) Kaméwanukiw Paula Rabideaux will open the Morning Institute with a Land, Water, and Labor Acknowledgment. Following this, ananda de oliveira mirilli and Dean Maxine McKinney de Royston, will co-create the morning with a webinar presentation and facilitate a generative conversation. Together, they will guide participants from understanding racial disproportionality in special education to developing a comprehensive racial equity agenda.
1:00 PM - 3:00 PM (CT) This interactive workshop will be led by a team of skilled facilitators. Participants will embark on a transformative journey aimed at enhancing educational practices and driving systemic change within Wisconsin's education system. This enriching experience is designed to foster collaboration and meaningful exchanges through breakout sessions and online tools.
